Detroit Mercy wishes students, their families, alumni and our community a very Merry Christmas and Happy Holiday season! 

The University’s McNichols Campus and School of Law (Riverfront Campus) will close at the end of normal business hours on Dec. 22 in observance of Christmas and the holiday season. Normal operations and University bookstore hours resume on Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2022. McNichols Campus and School of Law classes resume on Monday, Jan. 10, 2022. 

The School of Dentistry (Corktown Campus) will adhere to the following hours during the Christmas and holiday break: 

  • Dec. 18-19: Access limited to faculty/staff (must have approval from Dean’s Office). 
  • Dec. 20-22: Senior Administration and Facilities Staff only. (Building will be on backup generator and reserve power.) 
  • Dec. 23: Access limited to faculty/staff (must have approval from Dean’s Office). 
  • Dec. 24-26: Closed, no access available.  
  • Dec. 27-30: Access limited to faculty/staff (must have approval from Dean’s Office). 
  • Dec. 31-Jan. 2, 2022: Closed, no access available.  
  • Jan. 3: Access restricted from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. to registered students, faculty and staff with ID. 
  • The School of Dentistry will resume classes and clinic on Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2022.
